Getting ready for the next St Louis video production.
Wardrobe Coordinator, Cricket Vandover adjusts the talent's bonnet in the above still photographic image. Stills were taken of the video production shoot for further use in publicity and advertising by the client. Multiple web videos were shot specifically for internet video in our St. Louis studio located in south county. The video was shot entirely on green screen. Note the bottom of the image, it shows a bit of the teleprompter wording to be spoken by the actress. The video post production was edited in house. Rob Haller was the StL video producer and director for the project. Mike Haller was the StL videographer and art director. Dave Topping was the StL video editor. St. Louis Photographers still photography on location and in studio was provided by John Roussin.

Anchorwoman Karmen Johnson on the set for the Abolition News Network. Ms. Johnson is the spokesperson for the educational narrowcasting series for the web and DVD syndication. The first series on slavery pays homage to the heros and heroines of abolition in the 19th century. The first clip of SlaveGirl reached over 200 hits on YouTube in one weekend, and double that the following week. Viewership continues to rise and a marketing plan has been prepared to distribute the DVD's nationwide.

We are very happy with the reception of our new production "On the road to slavery" by the fictional Abolition News Network. This is a new approach, never attempted before, of a comprehensive teaching and study of the history of slavery in the United States in the 18th and 19th century by allowing students to hear the actual words and thoughts spoken by most all personalities involved that contributed to this subject, both for and against from 1776 until after the Civil War. This particular clip is quite moving and is a true story about a slave girl witnessed in 1838 on the Steamer "Uncle Sam." We actually hear about the horror and cruelty in her own viewpoint of what it was like to be a young slave girl bought in the United States before the Civil War.
